Welcome Message

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Conference Committee, we are honoured and delighted to invite you to the National Occupational Therapy Conference, to be held in Singapore from 25 to 26 October 2013.

The NOTC organized last year was a successful one with everyone’s support. As promised, Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists is organising the NOTC 2013 with the conference theme, “Collaboration and Innovation towards Quality Care”. It is developed with the aim of promoting collaboration between healthcare service providers in both acute and Intermediate & Long Term Care (ILTC) sectors in Singapore. Occupational therapists are encouraged to adopt innovative approaches towards better quality care throughout clients’ journey within the integrated healthcare system.

In addition to a comprehensive conference programme, delegates can also look forward to three workshops supported by overseas and local experts, tailor-made based on the needs of the local profession. One of them focuses on clinical mentorship that aims to be inline with the recent Allied Health Professional Registration in April this year.

We encourage you to attend the conference to exchange information and share your views with fellow colleagues. At the same time, networking with your friends or fellow colleagues is also very important. We would like to invite you to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Your recent interesting works could be shared with other colleagues at the conference.

In order to make this conference to be a successful one, we need your support and active participation. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
